well on Jan 10th 2020 myself and my daughter started c25k. Completed that and enjoyed it so much we carried on.
We've had a few things get in the way which knocked us back by about 6 weeks but finally today we reached the 10k distance.
I xan honestly say back in January I couldn't run 1 minute without needing a defibrillator but now ran for 1hr 17 mins and now ready for more.
I couldn't have carried on without my daughter Bonnie who has been a massive inspiration to me at how whilst in her final year of doing her Law degree she helped me achieve this.
So to anyone who reads this and who is struggling, believe me I am 100% proof that anyone can do this !!!!
Good luck to you all ππββοΈπββοΈπͺπ½

That is amazing what you have achieved π I also started in Jan 2020 and have managed 5k but have been struggling since going into consolidation for some reason so it is fantastic to read your story. Well done
Thank you, I'm not saying it was easy , there were days where we both struggled doing 3kms. You will get there though. It is definitely 70% brain 30% fitness .
Huge congratulations to you both πββοΈπββοΈ how lovely that you supported eachother on this journey. What a cracking time for your 1st 10k you should be delighted and proud. Well done, I hope you have many more happy runs together π€
