9k achieved today

[Over62]

So it was an overcast grey sky but a good temperature to run in this morning to move into a new distance realm, I kept telling myself through the run it’s only 1 more K than you did this time last week. As I approached the part where I normally turn to run towards home I took a deep breath and carried on for another .5k before turning back for home ....that wasn’t so bad I thought and as I went for the final k I decided to smile all the way which really made me put a bit of a spurt on and when the lady at Strava said I completed 9k I punched the air to the surprise of a passing dog walker. It took me 1hour 18 mins! And that’s fine by me....another 9k in the VWCR pot too. 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️
