So close to sub 30 min 5km

I usually save my long run for the weekend (would have been 9km today), but after only running once during the week, I set out to do 5km this morning. I felt a bit sluggish to start with to be honest, I blame last nights Chinese. But after 4km I realised I was on for a PB if I gave it a push. Managed to knock 30 secs off my PB and only 3 secs off the elusive sub 30 min 5km. PB now 30:03 😁, maybe one less prawn cracker next time.

Ooooh. This is ace. You know you are so close now and 30 mins will fall and then fall again successively.

You are so close to sub 30, you'll get it very soon for sure.

Then you can have another Chinese meal to celebrate.

You're doing great, happy running :-)

Great time ScottJB, very impressive....I’m trying to do the same as you I’m at a 5k PB of 31:14, but I’m sticking with it and determined to do it....even if it’s only once!

Oh and the day before the PB, I’d had a cheeseburger 🍔 so hardly healthy preparation either 😂
