Blisters πŸ€”πŸ€”

Ran just over 10k today on another brand new route , it was tougher in parts but it was raining my favourite running weather.

So on my run on Friday I was just short of 5k so ran round in a circle twice to the watch buzzed. I remember brushing by a overhanging tree and yesterday I had 2 small lumps on my arm. Then this morning the blisters were bigger and filled with clear fluid. I also have a red patch surrounding them and its warm.

If it's still the same tomorrow I will go in to see a pharmacist. I'm not in any pain or anything.

The tree is the only thing I can think of that caused it .

Happy running people πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Sorry about the blisters, I do think that running past that hanging tree caused the blisters in your arm, I just hope they go down soon, but if not go to the pharmacist to check it out.

Well done on your run today.

Hope he blisters don’t cause you any pain or discomfort. Good plan to see a pharmacist otherwise.

Enjoy the remainder of your weekend.

Pharmacist sounds like a good plan.

Theres a plant identifier app available- google play plant identifier. You take a photo and it tells you about the plant - may shed some light as to what it could be. πŸ€—

Gosh Buddy. Hope it something that clears up soon! Well done on a 10k though. Look after yourself.

Fingers crossed they settle down soon, hopefully just reaction to something. Hope you won't need to but if you do finger's crossee it's something the pharmacist can sort 🀞

Do you have any antihistamines / hayfever tablets? It might help with the red swelling.

Well done on the run but ouch! You got me looking up "stinging trees". This is worth a look en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phy... WARNING: some pretty grim pictures of blisters on there.

Might be worth seeing if the tree can be cut back by local authorities if it's the cause. Stinging trees, who knew? (Not me)

It could be giant hogweed as I know that causes blisters. Let us know - it’s got us all wondering.

Nasty! You could try anthisan cream - it’s an antihistamine cream for allergic reactions....

Does this look familiar?

No I think its a Hawthorn tree that caused it but not sure.

Ouch. Just mentioned it as flowers seem innocuous and I didn’t know about this one till recently.

Oh Buddy, you do seem to have some eventful runs! Wonder what sort of tree it was to give you that reaction!?

Hope it sorts itself out so you don't have the hassle of the pharmacy etc.

Perhaps antihistamines would help πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

put a new post up today, the blisters are still there but there is a spreading red skin rash surrounding it so showed the pharmacist and she told me to phone the doctor. Emailed photos to the doctor and he said I needed antibiotics and keep an eye on it😊
