I slept well and it was a beautiful Sunny morning outside my window so I to thought “I’m going to do it this morning” and I did. Not a long jog only 2.73 k but I got my fat bum out of that bed and went out 😂👍🏃‍♀️ and I feel good for it 😊

Well done! I'm going through a similar process at the moment, trying to get back into running. A sunny morning is definitely the right time for a short, invigorating run. Glad you enjoyed it!

Really ? Don’t know what’s got into me but my mojo has gone completely and hardly even going for walks let alone jogs 🙄 and I don’t like this person at the moment so I did really enjoy this morning 👍👍👍🤗 but will keep it at short ones and not going to push myself too much in case I push myself straight back into that bed again 😂

Don't be too hard on yourself, you got out there and that's what counts 👍

I don’t know about that, our fat bums were still sat in bed when I read your post but been out for a run now

Well done! It's hard to find that motivation sometimes. I'm only doing short "no pressure" runs at the moment - it's much easier to fit them in. I'm enjoying them, feeling invigorated by them, and, because they're short, leaves me wanting more.

That sounds like a good idea 👍

20-30 minute "easy" runs are great for kick-starting the day.

Hey KB! So glad you got out there! And enjoyed it. I'm on IC, last run was about 5 weeks ago but there doesn't seem to be any improvement to the niggly groin thing going on. Have exercises from physio and waiting for scan appointment. Missing my early morning plods. BUT am swimming instead! In an outside pool which is fab!You make sure you plan when the next one's gonna be, and do it, you know you can!

I’m sorry to hear you are on IC as that must be frustrating for you but I bet it’s good to be swimming 🏊‍♀️. Yes I think I need to plan but often it depends on how I’ve slept as if that isn’t good then I can’t get up. That’s probably just another excuse though 😂🤦‍♀️
