Tee hee my brother was the first, but definitely not the last person to run past me this morning! I saw a man flying by on the other side of the road, who turned, gave me a big grin and a wave, then off he shot πββοΈ. We cheer each other on on Strava, but heβs so fast, Iβd never keep up - his daughter used to run for the county.
I tried another route today, out towards a little village - it was pretty busy, and obviously a popular route. Not sure why I hadnβt tried it before, but I guess we all like a bit of familiarity ππ. I went down a lovely little loop of a lane called Pudding Lane, it was so pretty with thatched cottages and all sorts of loveliness!
My pace was a bit all over the place, not sure why, but Iβm overall very pleased with the result. Off to see my dad for Fatherβs Day in a bit - no doubt my brother will be there mocking my slow pace in the way only family can get away with! Have a smashing day everyone! ππππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ

Ah thanks Grannyhugs! It was a nice run, and it was lovely seeing my folks. Daisy, my parentsβ dog, is one of the reasons I visit too, sheβs such a character πΆ.
Well done on the 10k! Decent time too ππ» I'm sure your brother will secretly be very supportive and pleased that your getting out there... But won't be able to say so obviously π€£π€£
