Oooh me legs!

Where’s that sofa?! I just managed my longest run of 7 miles with Coach Bennett and am feeling it πŸ˜†. I went so slowly that when a young lady passed me, I thought blimey she’s running slowly, how slow must I be going? Then a lady running and pushing a baby buggy passed me too, but I just kept on plodding🦡. Anyway, I’m off to sloth πŸ¦₯ and have a nice cuppa β˜•οΈ. Happy Sunday all πŸ˜ŠπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ‘.

7 miles is 7 miles whatever your speed - and a long old way, so you have earned your sloth-like time on the sofa! πŸ€£πŸ‘ Well done!πŸ™‚

You use your arms and shoulders. Like pistons they are. We get stronger as we carefully progress through the miles πŸ’ͺπŸ‘πŸ™‚

Wow 7miles! I think my legs would seize up after that for sure πŸ˜‚Everyone talks about Coach Bennett , who is Coach Bennett?

Thank you Dups! Coach Bennett is on the Nike Run Club app - there’s loads of different runs to choose from, and it’s Coach Bennett who talks you through most of them. When I finished C25K I still needed someone to chat at me! All the best 😊.

Ah bless you Mummycav! I’ll never forget your big girl pants post which helped me enormously. I’m going to take a nice 3 day break as my body needs it, but I’m pretty proud of myself 😊. All the best Mummycav! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

It’s a good idea to ease into distance runs so slow is the way to go There’s no hurry is there πŸ˜ƒ

So true misswobble! Thank you 😊.

Well done! That's a fantastic distance! Next up you're on 10 miles and you leave us to go to the marathon forum! And as for speed, never forget: slow runners can run longer (in age) than fast runners πŸ˜‰

I did ten miles yesterday. I know exactly what that feels like on the legs. Important thing for today: do something to keep the legs moving. I'm going to be doing a bit of a walk later no matter how much my stiff legs object to the prospect.

Well done nowster! This morning I was back in my favourite place in the world - the gym! I’ve really missed it, so did a few light leg exercises. Hope you have a nice walk. 😊
