So I’m 2 weeks in to the 10k magic plan, and just completed my longest run yet at 6km. Felt like my best run yet too, I was tempted to carry on for longer but resisted. Oh, and Strava says I also bagged a 5km PB, but guess they only really count over the actual distance. On to week 3.

Many of us get that urge to press on because we feel ok. The problem is that it can feel fine at the time, and often you get away with it, but then comes the day that something goes twang, or you develop a limp or a pain later in the day, which turn into days and sometimes weeks off running. I do daft things still, and pay for it....just as well my physio is opening for business on Monday!! You are doing really well 👏👏👏😊👏👏

Thanks. I still find the first couple of KM tough, even after a decent warm up but today still felt pretty fresh at the end. I made a few mistakes in the C25K plan so have learnt not to push it. 😀

Well done on your longest run and your 5k pb. Even when i think I’ve done a rubbish run, sometimes strava says I’ve got a pb on one section which makes me feel better- so enjoy every pb 😊
