Done this run in my 5k training. This time felt so different. I did struggle for the last 3 mins. Nearly came to a stop. Think the 20mile bike ride yesterday might have somthing to with it.
B210k week 2: Done this run in my 5k training... - Bridge to 10K
B210k week 2

Which week are you on in Bridge to 10K? Week 2 is a 3, 5 and the 6K long run?

Personally, I'd take a struggle that took me 8.5k in sub-5 ks
I think I used Zenlabs to get to 10k as this forum hadn’t been built at the time.
I couldn’t go at your pace bike ride, or no bike ride!
We’re you fully hydrated?
I think so. I zip at water all day every day. I think it was a case of I knew it was coming to an end soon and my ass of all things was hurting. Putting that down to the seat on the bike. I did have a 1hr of strength and conditioning last night with trainer and he didn't let up. Next run is Thursday and hopefully it will be better.
Other factor is that it was a forest Park, I prefer out in the open as I think the breeze etc helps me better with breathing. Or Im just over thinking it all and should just be proud that I've came this far and still loving it.

well done, and I am not surprised, give those leggies a rest!!
