Happy happy run πββοΈππ€
Continuing on with being kinder to myself and just running free with my own choice of favourite music πΆ I set off this morning with no goals or expectations in mind besides wanting to achieve a no pressure sub 30 mins 5K if possible.
Again, I started off a little too fast and struggled a little bit to find a rhythm at the beginning. Settled in around the 2K mark when a fly decided to try and attack my eye π luckily - I saw it coming and blinked, catching it in my lashes! A few steps trying to remove the little B without stopping shows my dedication to the plan! πͺ
The splits highlight my pace dropping due to the 1 mile long gradual incline around my route. But this way round is much better than the direction I ran for the whole of C25K. If only I had worked this out earlier! π€¦ββοΈ
7 achievements, 2 PBβs and a couple of new Strava π with a 5K at 28:25 β
Knowing my next run will be my longest attempt (7K) I pushed on for an extra 0.5K just to check I had some more fuel in the tank and to make sure my activity properly registered for a Strava race π
Hopefully π€π» I could potentially achieve the 7K on Sunday around the 40 minutes mark ππ»
