Morning all, hope you’re enjoying the lovely weather. Last weekend my daughter suggested we run a marathon in a week. I was a bit hesitant as I’ve never run consecutive days in a week before. It meant running 3.8 miles per day. I agreed ( of course) and we chose a flat route along the canal. Day 7 today and I’ve done it - yay. 26.9 miles in a week, ( more than a marathon). I did struggle a few days but overall it was easier than I thought. This is the most I’ve ever run in a week. This takes my monthly total on strava to 72.4 miles , the most I’ve ever run in a month. Oh and I managed negative splits on 3 of the days. I’m now going to have a few days rest. Happy running everyone 👍🏼

Fantastic effort doing that in consecutive days and magnificent total for your month. I did it over 4 runs of 10/11k in a week. My next run was a 5k and got new PBs then was totally shattered and hated runs for the rest of the week so do make sure you rest up in the next few days and give your body a chance to recovery from that amazing running. Happy resting happy running 🤗
