Is this technology faff?!

As you know we invested in a treadmill during lockdown as I am shielding and missed running desperately but it’s harder than it looks! I’ve always been ok getting ready to go out running except when I forgot to charge the headphones! 😱. Everything was in one place but so far I haven’t managed a session on the treadmill without forgetting to switch something on!!

This morning I remembered my headphones and got the right podcast but the phone hit the programme button and I suddenly found I was running at 10.5k an hour at a 15% incline 😳. I nearly fell off! Then I realised I hadn’t turned the fan on so had to get off and switch it on but then realised it was pointing towards the wall not me! Husband to the rescue 😉.

I think need a check list like pilots before I get on it again 😂

Anyway I managed to do the planned run eventually. A gentle 3k.

Now to relax in the garden and complete a check list. 🤣

Oh I'm sorry Knittingrunner you made me laugh🤣 but you got it all sorted. So yes next time, speed - check , incline- check and fan in right direction- check.

Enjoy your day in the garden 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

A cautionary tale - should you feel the need to pull an article of clothing over your head while running on a treadmill, don't stop running while you can't see - the treadmill won't stop, and you'll be ejected via the back door. Has this happened to me - no :-) Have I seen it happen, oh yes :-) - I won't say who to, but some readers may be able to guess …...
