Just come back from a 4 mile run and discovered I have got my first blister running. Maybe this is because I have been living in slippers during lockdown. I might finally treat my feet to a gait analysis and new trainers once released! ๐

Maybe just the heat and our feet getting that bit more sweaty?๐

Ouch, poor you. Good fitting socks and trainers should certainly help. You'll notice such a difference. Let's hope they heal and dont prevent happy running ๐ค

Putting a bit of micro tape on the problem area before you run can be the cheapest solution

If you canโt get trainers fitted just now, have you tried runnersโ socks? I thought they must be a gimmick when I first heard of them but no, they make a real difference. Special shaping makes them grip your foot & not slip. I am now addicted, so watch out for that, but no blisters.... ๐๐

Sometimes two pairs of socks can help. They rub each other not your foot. I trained for a walking marathon a few years ago and ended up with toe socks and a pair of socks over them ๐
