CONGRATULATIONS...now please form an orderly queue and don't stand too close...I know, I know, you don't need telling that at the moment!!
I have to take my hat off to you all for keeping on going through these weird but also wonderful (I'm hoping something wonderful comes out of this!) times...it's wonderful for loads of different reasons and one of the reasons is because we can still run and we're, hopefully, enjoying a different pace of life and I don't really need to say why it's weird do I?!
One thing that is definitely wonderful is that through all this you have managed to reach your 10k goal...or you have run for a whole 60 MINUTES!!!! Whew, that is a long way and a long time to be running, but I bet you feel better for it don't you??
So, it is my pleasure to award you your extra well deserved badge this month...just leave a comment, telling me how it went and I'll get your badge to you as soon as I can...I promise to try not to leave it too long, I know how important these badges are!!
So once again a MASSIVE well done to you all....stay safe and happy running

Hello! I ran a 10k yesterday! Took me 1h17. I was inspried by my friend who jumped from 5k to 10k. There was a lot of rain and hailstones, but I got through that worst part and had a really great run! I can't believe how far i've come since August 2018 when I couldn't run at all.
Yay!! Well done Zee221b ...itβs always good when youβre inspired by friends...and you made it through the rain and hail in style! Enjoy your rest day today
I managed to run 10k for the first time today, I still can't quite believe it but I'm dead chuffed!! ππ It was very slow (took me an hour and a half) but that was my intention so I don't mind.
Thank you so much for the C25K program, Ju-Ju's Magic Plan and of course, all you amazing people on this site. You have inspired me so much and I am so grateful. I never thought I would ever be runner but perhaps now I am?!
You are definitely a runner Forest_Run_Beginner dont you ever doubt it...and now you can run 10k. The time it takes does not matter at all, itβs how you feel while your doing it, slow is best because it means you can run for longer π Congratulations, super work!
10k completed today. Beautiful run along the canal. I just kept going, so good to be out!

Wow, well done Evol ...my most favourite place to run is down by the canal, I love it...it's been a bit busier than normal as everyone must do their daily exercise down there too so I find myself stopping now and again to allow for social distancing, maybe this evening, if I go down there, it might be a bit quieter as its not blazing sunshine at the moment. Enjoy your new distance...and your badge suits you!!
Hello! I also ran my first 10k today. Hadnβt intended to do it at all but felt good so just kept going. It was a bit slower than normal with the need to keep 2m apart from everyone, so it took 67 minutes. My 10 year old daughter was with me on her bike so that may have given me extra energy! Thanks so much in advance for the badge.
Fantastic Hollyhocky , very well done! 67 mins is a great time and it sounds lovely that your daughter went along with you, this family time is so precious. Itβs my pleasure to pin your badge on for you π
Hello I completed my 10km last week and just to make sure I did another one this morning and no I wasn't dreaming. I did it 75 mins. Still pinching myself. Half marathon here I come...
Yay, well done Roxy71 ...itβs great when you e got 10k in your legs isnβt it?! Well done to you, I donβt know what the weather is like where you are but itβs gorgeous here, perfect for a nice long 10k...oooo, youβve got me wishing it was run day!!!! Congratulations and enjoy wearing your shiny new badge
I did my first 10k today, in 1h 13 min. I had been doing JuJu's plan, but stuck at 8k for a few weeks, as I could do that in an hour and felt that was a reasonable time to be out. But I should have been doing an organised 10 last weekend, so last week I decided to push for it. I did 9k last week and then 10k today! I customised one of my husband's 10k medals to award myself. Thank you to Juju and everyone here for their support. My next target is to improve my 5k time so that I can get a parkrun pb when we return.
Well done Ambr456 , this is excellent and brilliant that youβve made yourself some bling too!!! Canβt beat a bit of bling!! I got to 10k doing ju-ju- βs plan, itβs excellent isnβt it? Iβve just completed a Garmin 10k plan and it wasnβt as enjoyable as Ju-juβs...well done for sticking with it, you deserve your shiny new badge
Thanks. Don't worry I made it off the floor and into the shower. I just needed a few minutes to relax and reflect on my run.... One you're down it is hard to get back up!
Ran my first 10K earlier this week! Took me a while (from last June) to make the 10K grade but a concerted effort over the last 8 weeks or so did the trick.

Well done lvbrown79 , what a lovely day for a run today, I hope the sun is shining where you are...itβs my pleasure to pin on your badge π
Hi,
Did my 10k on Wednesday. Followed jujuβs plan and did just over 10k in 60mins. Think I could have kept going but I like to stick to the plan and build gradually.
Hoping to make it to a half marathon later in the year π€
Woo hoo Hidden thats fantastic!! ju-ju- βs plan is the perfect way to reach 10k, itβs perfect..and how fantastic when you reach your distance and then feel good enough to keep going?!! But, wisely, you stopped and yes, building your distance gradually is the best thing to do, I am absolutely sure you will reach your marathon distance...well done β
I completed Juju's Magic 10 yesterday with a 10K run! I was really nervous even though I was doing it on my own but I was scared of not making it. I had entered Bath Two Tunnels 10K race which should have taken place today. I was able to do it virtually and I'll still get my medal which I'm really pleased about. I did it in 70 mins which is the time I was hoping for as my best 5K time is 34 mins. I still can't believe I can actually run sometimes! I am really enjoying the journey. Thanks everyone on here for an inspiring and encouraging environment ππ
Woo hoo, brilliant achievement and youβll have some bling to remember it by! I think we all go through a phase where we have to pinch ourselves and actually believe we are runners...and what we do is amazing π Thatβs a good time youβve made it in too, itβs natural to be a bit apprehensive but ju-ju- βs plan is brilliant...and that coupled with the lovely folk on here is just the ticket! Well done Celeriac
I managed to do my first 10k today in 1 hour 11 mins! I was supposed to be doing an organised race so decided to do it anyway! Thanks to all the encouragement on here and to Juju for her magic plan!
I managed to run 10k today!! πββοΈπ It was meant to be 9k and was at the end of week 7 of Ju Juβs magic running plan. But I just had to keep going... And I am so glad I did!! A week early than planned but π
Woo hoo!!! Well done Sonia52 , Ju-Juβs plan is amazing...I think I was actually in France on holiday when I graduated...I had a βhad to keep goingβ run yesterday, those runs are the best arenβt they?! Enjoy your new badge a week early!!! Wow! X
Hello, I ran my first 10k yesterday on what should have been our local 10k/2k race day. I started C25K in January and signed up for the race in February, expecting to walk a fair bit of it. Anyway, yesterday I ran an alternative route and my husband and children joined me to run the last 2k which was just what I needed to keep going, eventually finishing in 68 minutes. At the start of the run I ran past the football pitch where I first panted around in the freezing rain in my first few weeks of C25K - a good reminder of how my running has progressed. My running club is making bling for the virtual race so I am looking forward to receiving my first medal as a runner. They also made me Runner of the Month for ploughing on and chasing my goals during these crazy times! I am so pleased I finally started to run (I had the app on my phone for a year and never once looked at it!) but joining a club and following everyone's highs and lows here made me realise that I could do it if I just tried!
Aww, I love this...the thought of your family running alongside you warms my cockles..how lovely?! Thatβs something youβll remember too, I remember my first park run and my hubby was standing at the finish line, I thought he was still in bed, it was so emotional! The reminder of you panting around the football pitch in the freezing cold is definitely something you wonβt stop feeling Iβm sure, I often go across to the park where I graduated C25k to remind myself how far Iβve come..& also when Iβm having self doubts and a bit of a wobble I know I can always come on here and my friends will pick me up...& thatβs what weβre all here for...I had the app for a while before I dared to have a go, not quite a year though! I bet youβre so glad you clicked on the β Run nowβ button now arenβt you?!!
Enjoy the bling youβve earned from you running club and also your badge on here.. you definitely deserve them both, well done and congratulations π₯³
Well slightly less than a year after I finished C25K I ran my first 10k tonight. Its taken me 9 weeks to do the magic plan as the last couple of weeks have been disrupted by work, then my last 2 runs felt rubbish, but went out tonight and nailed it ππΎ
Hi ran my first 10k last week and managed another today in 58.51, so pleased to be at this level after only 8 weeks of running, started couch to 5k and took it from there.Love reading stories o n this forum, very inspirational π
Wow ....that is fantastic progress! Youβve been working hard! I love this forum too...itβs my favourite place π. Well done to you...itβs my pleasure to pin on your badge x
Hi, I completed my 10k yesterday. I am proper proud of myself as I spent most of my life trying to avoid sports but after quitting smoking and outbreak of covid-19, I urgently needed an outlet for all the frustration and bottled up energy. Running really kept me sane and I am addicted now! I am not active on the forum but I love reading posts from all of you, keep them coming everybody!
Made it today, 10k in 1 hour 8 mins. Beautiful weather. I run a route that leaves me a couple of miles from home at the end. Really enjoyed the walk home in the sun with a gentle breeze.
Congratulations Kat332zz ...what a beautiful morning for it! I also try leave a little distance for a walk home so I can take in my surroundings and reflect on what Iβve just done...and what just did is amazing! Enjoy the rest of your day πππ»ππ»ππ»
Hi Mummycav I ran a 10k on Monday and wondered if I could swap my badge from 60 mins to graduate10 please? I posted this post also on C25K by mistake sorry! Many thanksππ
I ran my first 10k today, still canβt really believe it! Huge thank you to C25K, Ju Juβs Magic Plan and all the wonderful advice on here. Looking forward to getting my shiny new badge ππ€£
Yay!!! Well done Reluctantrunner40 ...that is excellent...this is the best forum in the world and a lovely place to share your running journey π Well done you!! πͺπ»
Hi I've done my 2nd 10k today and got a pb of 55.49! Am so amazed! It's taken me a while to get here. Started the c25k last June and had a few injuries along the way. Don't know how I ever lived without running now πββοΈ it's really got me through these strange times we are living in.
How wonderful Bookloverabc ?!! One minute weβre wondering how on earth weβre going to get through week 1 of C25k next minute we canβt imagine life without running and smashing a flippin 10K pb!!! Congratulations to you...enjoy the rest of your graduation day!!! Woo hoo...what a lovely day for a run too ππ
Wow, youβre doing so well!!! Building up slowly is the best way...are you doing Ju-juβs magic plan?? Itβs my pleasure to give you your 60min badge π
Hello Mummycav, I've just finished ju-ju's magic 10K plan and ran my final 10K this morning. Please could I get my graduate10 badge? I started the 10K plan mid April and have run every other day. I have discovered a lot - things like the toxic 10 is more toxic 3k but have found some lovely new routes to take in. And of course I couldn't have done it without the help of this wonderful forum. Not sure what my aim is now, I like the structure of the plan but don't have any desire to run a half marathon, I guess it would be good to consolidate for a few weeks? Hope you are all well xx
Yay...well done beth_f , thatβs an excellent achievement...and a gorgeous sunny day to do it!! I know what you mean about the toxic 3k, sometimes it takes me at least 3k to get comfortable in my run too!!
Yes, if I were you Iβd do some consolidation runs and just enjoy your new found distance throwing a couple of shorter runs in and maybe a bit of interval work to get that heart pumping?! Keep in touch to let us know how youβre doing...allβs well here thank you...stay safe xx
Hi I ran my first ever 10k today! Slow and steady but I did it, very proud of my achievements since starting the c25k in January. Can I please graduate to a 10k runner now ππββοΈ
congratulations...youβve done so well and have been working so hard since Jan, you deserve your new shiny badge...wear it with pride πππ»ππ» Slow and steady wins all the way π Happy running
Hi gnjones1975 ...congratulations on your graduation...what an achievement? And a great way to end the month! Hereβs the link you need to get your badge healthunlocked.com/couchto5....
The badges on this post are for 10K or 60 min running so who knows, you might be checking back in here in the not too distant future?!! Well done
I have just recently completed 10k! A short, overweight middle aged woman who started couch to 5k struggling to run for 60 seconds and can now run 10k (albeit very slowly π)
These programmes work, you just need to have a little faith.
Congratulations to those who have completed the programmes and good luck to all those still on their journeys. You are all amazing π
