... achieved my March goal to get up Bitch Hill without stopping. 🥳

Doing it on a run when I was trying to do 16k probably wasn't such a good idea though.🥴

Still, always good to have something new to aim for ...

Good run for you today Speedy60 up Bitch Hill without stopping, well done, I wonder why they call it Bitch Hill, perhaps named after a nasty lady..

Oooff! That’s incredible. Cannot even imagine 16k. Most impressive that it was uphill too. I’ll be running in the rain tomorrow....

Ooh I love hills, but never tried on that length of a run. Fantastic effort - great distance and speed. Happy running 🤗

I hate hills! I'm trying to learn to love them. I live on the coast (my house is actually on reclaimed land below sea level 😳). Then there are limestone outcrops producing b****y great hills. I can run low and flat, or I can run high and flat, or I can run from low to high to low again.

For the whole of c25k, I ran low (obs). Now I need to decide each run whether I'm going for hills or distance. Today has shown me I can't do both - yet!

I did flat until January them made determined effort to learn hills. It’s worth it in the end. Have fun 🤗

Hills definitely have an impact on my stamina. I had been avoiding this particular run because of social distancing. I went for it today on a whim because there was nobody about in the rain. I don't know when I'll get to do it again.
