I'm working on bridging from 5 to 10k, and touch wood it's going well at the moment. But I've recently started to develop some small blisters on one of my big toes, which is new.
Is the odd blister just inevitable, or is it a sign I might need new trainers?
Just wanted to check before I pop a plaster on and ignore it

could be trainers or how you lace your shoes. Have a look at the pinned posts here and on Couch as I know this is something that regularly gets raised. I hope they heal up soon
Oops poor you. I've never had blisters and currently doing 10k 3times a week. Check you have decent well fitting socks and no rubbing it's on your trainers. Good luck they clear and you find the source of the problem. Happy running 🤗
I wear runderwear anti blister socks (there are other varieties available)& haven’t had any problems with blisters. Equally it maybe down to new trainers. Hope your sorted soon 👍
Hi, I really suffered blisters, I don’t know about trainers but anti blister socks helped so much and it’s ages since i’ve had any
Make sure to get blister plasters if you can much more comfortable than ordinary ones Compeed are a bit expensive so i tried store brand ones and found them just as good
Good luck, oh two pairs of thin socks work too as if there is any friction it’s between socks and not toes
