10k at last!!

It may possibly be one of the slowest ever at 1hr 49mins but I don't care, and I'm so chuffed it was before my anniversary of starting C25K πŸ˜πŸŽ‰ Thankfully I recorded it on my Garmin or I wouldn't have believed it, even though it was only 90mins ago. THANK YOU ALL for your support and adviceπŸ™πŸ˜˜ .... in fact I will be looking for advice on aching insteps later 🀣🦢(only the left one)

10 bottles. One for each km. Time doesn't matter. You did the distance and showed great stamina. It really is a terrific achievement. Well done.

Thanks, it's good that there was a two part play I could distract myself with πŸ˜‰

She who runs slowest gets the most value for money from their entry fee. I am also a slow runner but have yet to make the dizzy heights of 10k. 7.5k is my best so far. Many and most congratulations to you on your mammoth achievement. 😎

10k?!?!? That is amazing!! Pace doesn’t really matter - the time being active and the distance. Superb!! πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯³ 10k!!! Woohoo!

Bravo! Fantastic! Never mind the time, feel the distance. πŸŽ‰πŸ‘πŸŽ‰πŸ‘πŸΌπŸŽ‰ Such a great achievement in your first year of running. And always remember: research shows that slow running is best for your health. πŸ˜„πŸ‘ Bask in that triumphant glow. πŸŽΆπŸŽ΅πŸŽΆπŸŽ‰

Thanks Granspeed, might start running back home in the Forest now but don't fancy that soft sand around Beaulieu Rd πŸ˜‰

Soft sand anywhere is 😱. Find some good gravel tracks or mixed woodland paths. Happy forest running! 😊

Amazing! Well done you. I completed my first 10K just after Christmas, and it felt great. Just take time to think about what you have achieved.

Cheers Charlie, hope you're doing OK, seems a long time since we graduated last summer. I need to re read the early posts, didn't think today would ever happen to me, you I had no doubts about, in awe of your Park Runs odyssey πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ₯‡πŸŽ½πŸ˜²

Loving "odyssey". It has obviously been interrupted by some great sea beast, or sirens, or something. I think I missed reporting on one before parkruns paused - the total should be 31 - I will need to do a write up for St Albans.

Woohoo Meepnum, really well done! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

It’s such a wonderful distance to run. Non-runners think β€œwhoa that’s huge” - I know I did! Now you’ve done it, and you should feel super proud of that achievement πŸ‘πŸ’ͺπŸ‘ŠπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜€ πŸ… ⭐️

Well done from another 90 minutes + slow coach when I graduated, bonus is that I have now done it 3 times and every one is a PB. Happy running.
