New running socks! Even if I canโt run at the moment, I plan to enjoy breaking them in. ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Happy running or training or resting, lovely folks. ๐

Have you acquired a sock fetish Granspeed.? Your sock drawer must be so colourful now.
Nice toe socks GS. Blisters should be history!
Love the foot covering Granspeed! I havenโt worn toe socks since I was a teenager and they werenโt very comfy- do they fit into running shoes ok? Might try some for fun!
I love them, and they are real runner ones from Barefoot Junkie. But my running shoes do have plenty of toe room, as I have that โnarrow heel, wide toeโ foot shape so have always had to be very careful about shoe fit. The socks come in gorgeous colours - have to really restrain myself as they are not cheap & donโt want a mortgage at my age. ๐คฃ
Love the socks! When I started C25K I never wore socks! Then I bought new trainers and the guy in the running shop asked if I wanted socks!? ๐ He recommended the same ones that you have... I'M CONVERTED! โค๏ธ Hope it won't be long before you're putting them on for a run! ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ
๐ I admit to a bit of obsession with running socks. OH chuckles, as it is my first & only โfashionโ item! ๐คฃ
Ooh nice colours! Enjoy wearing them and I hope you have lots of lovely smiley miles in them ๐โโ๏ธ๐
Ooooohhh! I've just discovered toe socks for Pilates and they are brilliant. But not so gowjusss as these ๐
I donโt know why Granspeed, but I find toe socks extremely amusing! Yours are fantastic. ๐ Are they comfy? I know theyโre all the rage for preventing blisters, but I have short toes (my husband says donโt ever stand near a cliff edge or Iโll fall off!!) and I think there would be extra โtoeโ flapping around in my trainers, if you see what I mean! ๐
Hope you get to run in them sooner rather than later. ๐ค
I never realised the difference good socks can make until someone gave me a pair of vortex performance socks.
Not cheap but certainly made a big improvement when running for for my old feet.
Nice socks Granspeed! I was thinking about my toe socks the other day after I got a hotspot beside my big toe on my long run wearing my narrower road runners. The injinji I have are a thicker type sock for my trail shoes so was thinking I should order another pair (or 2 ๐ค) that is thinner for my road runners. This reminded me of this. Thanks!
My ones with the black toes are their thinnest โlightweightโ ones - still very comfy. The blue toe ones are thicker but still lighter than my trail ones ( yes, I have a whole wardrobe of running socks. I know, I know....) - they are meant for Ultra runners, but I cheated because I loved the colours. Maybe you need to try both kinds? ๐ Happy shopping. ๐
Ooh what gorgeous colours! ๐ I think it was you first got me into those Injinji toe socks, and I truly love them, so thank you again!
Oh dear what's stopped you from running? I've been off for a while while my fractured finger bones healed after an operation, so not been around here for a while.
Hi, Iain - I only just caught up with your recent post so had missed the agonising finger bone saga. How grim for you! Must have been some nasty conjunction of the Running Omens, as our Marathon Daughter crashed to the ground while speed training and broke both arms. ๐ฑ Dangerous stuff, this running at speed. Glad to hear you are getting better, as is the Daughter. Meanwhile, I had a niggly foot and then Mr GS had a bout of heart trouble. Bad timing. The docs kept him out of hospital (whew!) but he canโt yet be left, so I am still grounded. Trying to keep up the S&F and reading everyone elseโs posts with envy! ๐คฃ So enjoy your running doubly for me too. ๐๐
