I met him at the HMV store in London in the early 80s. My cousins were big fans and we travelled by train. Elder cousin and her very pretty best friend disappeared to the toilets and came back wearing boob tubes. My life changed forever. 🤣
Back in '88 we we're still clearing the screen on our 8MB (EIGHT!) cutting edge computers by turning the unit off and on LoL. No Utube and no clue what was coming at us.
Merry Christmas to you Jay66UK, I notice that you are preparing for a HM sometime next year but you are quite rightly not rushing into things, I have not been running much recently, mainly because of the icy pavements, but I still go long walks and do a little running as well. Winterval, Christmas, Yuletide, Winterfest, whatever you call this time of year, compliments of the season to everyone here on C25K.
Happy running Lexi6 what a great location you have for it! Yes I got a few running gifts too. Although I did make the mistake of running with all the new gear, head phones annoyed me, gloves had to remove half way etc! Think just one new thing at a time 😁
Hi CatMo, I know what you mean about the gifts I’ve yet to try out my new phone holder, thought a watch might be a step too far after new ear buds etc, but it was all a bit much today, new sunnies, cap, buff round wrist to use as face sweat wipe, sorry TMI and jacket in case of rain. Talk about being overdressed. The end of the run couldn’t come soon enough and I resembled a giant tomato on legs , think I’m still glowing now. 🙂
