A magical plan

I did 8km this morning on the Magic Plan, which I’ve never done before or, frankly, ever thought was possible! So colour me rather chuffed! It was slow (of course!) at an average pace of 10:28 per km, but I’ll happily take that. But the thing that surprised me most was the fact that I actually enjoyed it!! Happy springtime running folks!

Congratulations Oldgirlruns, a brilliant achievement, and I am reallt proud of you my friend. What went wrong, there was no wind? In fact what a lovely day to go running, I'm dead jealous.

Yes, no wind - who knew it was possible for me to run without it!! Saw the sun rising as I trotted along the seafront and out towards the RNLI!

🎉👏🏼🎉 Well done! That is fab. When this is all over, and when I have managed to build back up from my current 10 minute run time (😱), we will meet up for a New Forest run!

I think I’ll have to put this one on my list - I’ve had so many cancelled, I’m getting withdrawal symptoms!

Well done OGR, that's fabulous progress. It was really nice out there this morning, wasn't it. My run took me the other way towards Old Portsmouth, but Mr C's cycle ride took in the RNLI this morning. He wouldn't have seen you as he most definitely didn't see the sun rise!

Oldgirlruns profile image
OldgirlrunsGraduate10 in reply toCoddfish

I did see several cyclists down there! It must be on the trail!

Amazing OGR! 8k is a fantastic distance, and guess what? It’s mighty close to 10k (see how useful my O Level maths was there?! 😅)

I’m impressed with your early start. It certainly was a beautiful day today wasn’t it? ☀️☀️☀️

Stay safe. 👍
