On holiday this week but something peculiar came over me and I found my running gear in my case. Decided to give myself a break with no set plan for the week and only go out if the mood took me (and given my runs can only be in the evening, catching a day when I hadn’t had too many beers or food to make it unbearable). So tonight I set off on the cliff path, which basically went down one side of a valley and up the other - would have struggled walking that in the past. Had to stop to avoid angry horned sheep, to take some obligatory pics and because quite frankly that was maybe a bit ambitious in terms of hills ( and it was post one beer and Chinese!) Who cares, it was great to take in such a stunning view and just enjoy putting one foot in front of the other with no time or distance in mind. Back on it next week with the 8k to tackle.
