graduated on Saturday from c25k and just done our 1st run to 10 k . OMG So hard ๐ข
Still completed it though just about .
Thinking perhaps 2-3 days rest in between as my legs felt very heavy after 30 mins.

Brilliant, well done ๐ ๐
Superb, well done.. yes, follow whichever 10k plan you are following which will be designed with rest days in...
And you may want to spend some time consolidating your 5k before moving on, there is no rush
Well done! Congratulations ๐ฅณ๐๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐
Yikes did you go straight to the 10k after graduating on c25k ๐ง go easy build it up you'll enjoy those distances so much more
I was fine until probably the last 5 minutes then my legs just went lol. Feel good now though. ๐so lucky to have my daughter as a running partner.
Phew I jumped the same distance and believe me it hurt the next day ๐ฌ dropped back down and consolidated at 5k and then built it up 7.5k etc you'll enjoy it much more ๐, I press pedals also for a living and after the 1st 10k changing gear was kinda painful ๐ญ
Be very careful jumping straight fromC25K to building up to 10K you should be consolidating your 5Ks So you donโt get injuries.
You should try NHS Audio fuel 5K + podcasts
They help your legs get stronger in preparation for running longer.
Good luck
As other have said, consolidation is important. You've just completed one progressive training plan. You need to give your body a chance to catch up before you move on to the next step.
Try doing some slower runs for the enjoyment of it.
When people say consolidate 5K first it means get used to running 5K for 3 x times per week for about 10 to 12 weeks first. Then if you want to move on feel free to do so.
Your a very new runner. Donโt try to do too much too soon. 5K is a great distance. Iโm running 3 years now and run 5K about 85% to 90% of the time. When I moved on to 10K I just picked 1 of my 3 runs per week and added 500 meters onto it each week.
The injury couch is full of people who go straight from C25K graduation straight to a 10K plan.
Well done for your effort and your wish to go to 10K. But take your time. Get used to 5K first.

Thanks for all your comments. Have to say it was hard but my legs feel fine today so hopefully in a few days when I'm back home we can go for run 2 .
Stay safe people
