Saw this on my run πŸ’•

Went out for my run (only running intervals for 3 minutes then walking for 90 seconds, as I continue my slow return from injury). Out on the bridle path, I looked across and, on the hill facing me, I saw this message ploughed into the earth. It was a flat, grey morning so I've tried to make it clearer. Don't mind telling you, I welled up when I realised what it was. Sending love from one lot of unsung heroes to another, I reckon. πŸ’•

Aw that’s so lovely! Glad you’re doing well with your return to running, I finally managed to get out today for run 1 of C25k n it felt amazing to be back out there. Happily my hip was fine so looks like I’ll be joining you on that slow return. Happy running!

That’s fantastic. Well done to the farmer. Also thank you for continuing to provide the country with food.

Hear hear. So many people going above and beyond, that we normally take for granted. Thank you everyone. Including the bin men who are still doing the rounds, bless them πŸ’•

We are fit and healthy thank you grumpyoldgirl. Being retired and together, the lock down is not such a shock to our system (so far) and I think we will cope for as long as we have to. I feel for the youngsters whose whole world has been turned upside down, cut off from friends and colleagues and their work. Also, for all those working under great pressure and putting themselves in danger to provide the support we all need.

We will get through this with a different sense of what’s important I think.
