Well done to him, I suppose I could run a 5K round my garden, it is a bit smaller, I think if nothing else I would get dizzy and my neighbours would think I was completely mad. 😊

Lets just hope we are not all forced to do this, I'm planning my "once a day exercise" early tomorrow morning, hopefully about 7k

This afternoon, I have measured laps of my back garden, using fitbit. 10 laps = 0.54km. I'm not yet sure what I'm going to do with this knowledge!

10K = 185.1 laps

Half (21.09) = 390.6 laps

Marathon (42.195K) = 781.9 laps

🤪

My small garden is 70 feet/21 metres all the way round, could any math experts tell me how many times/laps would I have to go round if I ran a 5K?

5000 metres (5K) / 21 metres = 238.09 laps 😊

Thank you for your reply ktsok, I will only do those 238 laps round my garden if there is a complete lockdown.

Let’s hope it won’t come to that. But if it does, don’t forget to change direction every so often!

I tried a 5k up and down my garden. The 125 laps was rather boring, but good exercise, especially the sharp turns at either end. The most difficult bit was trying not to lose count.

😂 That'd be so annoying if you lost count! Back to the beginning!
