The marathon journey

I am now in week 9 of my Bath half marathon training plan and thought you might like to see the hardships I am enduring in my 2016 Berlin marathon quest. I'm in Australia for a week and risked lethal snakes and spiders to do my tempo run this morning. The scent of eucalyptus and the song of lyrebirds just added to my trials ;-)

Looks gorgeous TT but I'm not sure about the snakes and spiders. Give me mud and rain any day!

Right up until you mentioned the spiders and snakes I was thinking "Ooo how lovely!" What a difference those 3 little words make 😱 Stay safe and enjoy your training x

I will AM. I am assured the snakes will keep away if they hear me coming so my heavy breathing is paying off.
