So ran another 5k this morning. First 5-7 mins felt awful but made myself keep moving. I have a bit of an achy top right thigh since my muddy parkrun but it gets better the further I run. Checked my finish time and had a PB of 33:46 π. Also another run to add to the Vitality World Cup Running UK team. Never thought this running malarkey would be for me but I think Iβm starting to enjoy it - how strange π€
Achy legs but getting faster : So ran another... - Bridge to 10K

excellent... running is the best, glad you had a good one
Thanks Ju-ju - any tips on stretching out my upper thigh?
I do yoga which has helped. Really difficult to say as I am not a physio etc. But if my IT band is tight I often foam roll which is fabulous. Have you got some stretching exercises? Or looked at the strength and flex podcasts?
Swimming! Swimming is great for loosening everything up!
Well done! Great time and great progress.
