I have done a long run of 11km and a 5 but need to get in another 5km and have a meeting tomorrow but I am itching to run. It will have to be an early run, I can't wait any longer. So happy now my achy shin trouble has gone. Still taking it easy, enjoying the soft grass (and puddle dodging)! Rediscovered the love and fun of running. 😀

Hope you managed to fit in your 5km. I ought to be out running - I have a 10km in three weeks and I'm nowhere near ready - but I've had an exhausting week and need to rest. I had planned to do a 5km last night but fell asleep almost as soon as I got home instead. I think if I manage a 5km+ run tomorrow that'll make up for it

I think the softer trail is a good plan. I was walking on soft muddy ground the other day and my leg felt ok afterwards.
Take care, go steady! I think it's the fast runs which cause us the problems. Leg slamming. Ouch!
