Yay completed my qualifying run - 3k in 21 mins. Also ran the furthest I ever have in a quicker time than my normal 5k time. Weather was perfect and I felt good today, makes such a difference to your run when you feel positive. Also used the Jenni Falconer, Runpod to listen to and it distracted me enough not to think of times or distance more than my usual music did, which helped too π

Congratulations Mands50 on qualifying for the Vitality World Running Cup and being part of the healthunlocked GB team, I ran my second run this morning, it was a 6K, bringing my total distance to 10.45.
Go Team GB π¬π§π¬π§π¬π§
Thanks Almorr, well done on your 6k today and your 10.45 total ππ
I saw about 20 other runners today, I am just wondering if any of them were running in the VRWC GB. team, usually on a Saturday morning when I am not at parkrun, there are some runners, but not as many as today, usually around 4 or 5.
Could be but could also be the nicer weather today. Running around the woods and lake taking in nature made my run time much more enjoyable.
Where I am in Central Scotland all those runners including myself were running in cloudy weather with very light rain falling, not much but nevertheless a little wet.
Oh dear - rain stayed away down south today. Hope the weather improves for you.
Congratulations! πβ VRWC is so motivating.π
Fantastic effort, great run. The better weather is such a treat. Appreciated even more after the wet winter. Happy running π€
Excellent! Have you joined the HU team in the VRWC? app.runningworldcup.com/tea...

Well done! I just started listening to RunPod, they had Anna Harding on from the Running Channel, love her so had a listen to that on my long run today
Thatβs the one I was listening to - sheβs great and kept me interested as I ran π
