10k in the far north!

So excited! Mr Sandie and I are going to do the NC500 in May and I just happen to have planned to go to Cape Wrath on 10th May. On 11th May is the Cape Wrath 10k. Oops! Grannyhugs said she had entered. Well, I couldn’t let her run in her own, could I? I defy anybody to do a 10k further north 😂😂

I had to google NC500 Sandie, but now I know all about it. It sounds wonderful and I take it you’ll be taking your mobile home with you.

And then to add in a race, and meet a VRB, just perfect.

A far north 10k to go with that far south 10 mile. You’ve just got to plan a westerly now.

Yes, we’re setting off on 4th May with the van and getting back on 19th. A couple of nights on Skye to visit one of Mr Sandie’s old friends and a day trip to Orkney planned. I’ve never been north of Aviemore before and May can be such a lovely month (before midges!). Really looking forward to it!

Oh wow Sandie! I had to look up NC500 too but, my, that looks a wonderful challenge. You’ll be fine for the 10k I’m sure, you’ve plenty of time to get some hills in 👍
