Early start to the morning for my 10k so off to bed shortly. Forecast is for clouds and the usual Welly winds so fingers crossed the cyclone will have blown itself out. There won’t be any ostriches or emus to look at like Khobarunner’s 10k race but I am hoping to spot some exotic fruit and vegetables. Hope Dennis doesn’t cause too many problems for you. Happy and safe running everyone x

Shame about not seeing emus and ostriches this time round! What a distraction they’d be to people not used to them! 👀

Dennis didn’t stop my local PR, although most others round here were cancelled. Actually it’s no worse here than a blustery winter’s day and it hasn’t even started raining yet. I’m sure it’ll ramp up later, so hopefully everyone will be safe. 🤞
