Well done, fantastic achievement. We are all different so I can only share my own story. I graduated from C25K and immediately started C210K coming in at week 9. Seemed like a good idea but I had underestimated that settling into a routine and from the constant increasing run times, my legs started to get sore so I stopped on the first week. Bi took a week to rest and recover and went back to 3 X 30 minute runs, running only on soft ground too and my legs felt good and on a day when I felt I could, kept running to 5k in around 43 mins, so slow and steady! After that for many weeks I started running 5 k X 3 times a week, quite a challenge still so I stuck with that. I feel that time gave me a lot of leg strength too and allowed me to recover a little.

Then I started doing one "long run" a week, just small increases in run distances - 5.5k, 6,7,8 followed by a 10! All determined by how my legs felt on the run and how well they recovered. Nice and slow, I allowed my speed to grow naturally - now run 5k at around 34 mins, so that is good enough for me
