My local Parkrun has put together a little video and some cool stats to celebrate the fact that it's the 200th event on Saturday. Thought I'd share on here in case anyone is interested! I know some of you aren't a million miles away, perhaps you might fancy a bit of Parkrun tourism? Just hope Storm Dennis doesn't spoil things...
Thought I would share! : My local Parkrun has... - Bridge to 10K
Thought I would share!
Looks absolutely beautiful Debston. Hope you enjoy running at their 200th parkrun. You might even get some cake.😊🏃♀️🍰
Cake would be amazing! I actually remember hearing that Bedgebury were starting a new Parkrun, must have been in the spring of 2016 and I registered for a barcode. Took me until June 2019 to pluck up the courage to actually give it a go!
Looks gorgeous! Wish I were near.... Have fun and I hope you get cake! 🎉👏🏼🎉🎶🎉👏🏼
Looks really lovely. I like that it is one big loop. Lovely!
That looks such an interesting place to run, must be fantastic atmosphere! 🏃♂️🌲 👍
Looks so nice....it’s a long way from me but put a marker down for a parkrun tourism when the weather improves a bit and I can head over in my campervan!! Think this weekend I might get blown away!!
That looks like a fabulous place to run - I wish it was closer 😁
It's great, I'm very lucky to live a short drive away. Are you doing Parkrun this weekend?
No, I’m leaving Parkrun “parked” until I’ve hopefully graduated - I’ll be starting W9 this week. I’ll probably do it occasionally afterwards, it’s just at a bit of an inconvenient time for me. You’re probably out doing yours now as I type this reply 👍😁
What a fab place to run, really hope this weekends predicted storm doesn’t stop you all running,
They posted on facebook this evening that it's definitely on for the morning so fingers crossed... But the Forestry Commission are closing the pinetum on Sunday due to Storm Dennis. I'm hoping that parkrun will be done and dusted before the worst of the weather hits, I don't mind a bit of rain but running in high winds is no fun.
