Do you think they do?, that's the second post with the same header, the first for some how or a reason was deleted by who knows, anyway, nice caption, isn't it very windy this afternoon, glad I am not outside running 🏃🏾 👍

I'm really glad I'm not running today AlMorr. The winds are between 50-55mph . I was out with the dog though 🐕

I was with my Thursday walking group this morning, it wasn't as windy as it is now, I got a big congratulations from my friends when I told them that I ran the exact same route as we do on a Thursday, the walk usually takes around 44 minutes, I ran it on Saturday morning in 27 minutes, it's about 4K.😀 🏃🏾.

I've not had to run in the cold yet, I started in Spring and it's now the height of Summer. I'm having to run in the dark before work though, the sun is just about up when I finish my run. It gets down to about 2 degrees here in the North Island on an early Winter morning and I've actually seen frost a couple of times :-) I don't miss the UK weather!

🤣🤣 I think they look forward to the next wet muddy outing. Running shoes love hard work.

I don’t miss them on rest days. I like my rest days. Today is not one of them. 45 mph cold wind and rain. Dreading it. But looking forward to the nice warm shower afterwards. 650 kilometres on my running shoes now. I think they are looking forward to retirement. I’ll squeeze another 2-3 months out of them. Get my moneys worth.

Your weather sounds pretty much like mine . I know they say you get x amount of km/miles from running shoes but I think if they still feel okay you should continue using them. 😊

I aim for about 800 to 850 Km’s which is about a year of running for me. I’ll be making a new purchase in April or May.

“Wash me please”

“I’m not going there!” 🙀

“Oh goody, we’re going out...”. 🤗

“Don’t you think we need to go home?”

“Don’t bend me like that”

“Please don’t leave me for another pair” ☹️

I was supposed to be on a rest day, but I've just had to chase the contents of my recycling bins down the street and round my garden, which wasn't quite what I had in mind for today.

The annoying thing is, I forgot to record it on Strava...

hmm ... not sure I could claim to have proper running shoes. Until my first 10K I ran in a pair of hiking trainers. To celebrate running my first 10K I began using some running trainers I bought in Aldi years ago because they were reduced from, I think, £24.99 to £8. they were so cheap, and I thought they would come in useful one day. When they're worn down a bit I might take them to a running shop and get a gait assessment and some proper shoes.
