I've been wondering??

I wonder where that chubby (fat) bloke is who struggled to run for a minute??? He used to wait for Laura to tell him it was time to walk and get his breath back. He looked at the weeks to come and dread the thought of running for 3 minutes, 5 minutes and oh my days 8 minutes. How can he possibly run for 8 minutes!!!! I wondered all this while out running this morning before I came to work. A nice steady 8.5K that took 47 minutes. I felt as if I could keep going and complete the 10K. I only stopped because I had to get ready for stinky work. I hope that fat man is reading this and he carries on running. He doesn't know what he's missing. Have a great day all you runners out there whether you have graduated or are just starting out.

Brilliant post and sums up the massive changes running has brough to so many of our lives. Weight was not an issue for me but oh my, that 'old me' doubted herself so often! The belief in myself I have gained through running has slowly spread to other areas of my life. How lucky we are to run! Hope your day at work is a good one! 🙂

It has certainly changed mine. All for the better. Just as I was coming to the end of my run this morning the sun was rising, the sky was a mix of beautiful colour. Felt so good to be out when otherwise I would have been in bed..... brilliant way to begin a day.

Well I've lost a stone in weight so far. My ultimate goal is the Sheffield half marathon next April. It's maybe a step too far but I'm gonna have fun trying.
