A job high on the list this January has been sorting and clearing the loft, I must have tweaked a muscle in my back as I felt the next morning a little niggle, a niggle that wasn’t going to stop me I’d planned to run my first 8k. I’ll run it off I kept saying for the 1st 4K and when I had the chance to call it a day at 5k I still chose to ignore it and carried on, slowly but carried on to complete the 8 k - so pleased with myself and feeling smug all be it very slow even by my standards! An hour later I could hardly walk standing up and sitting down we’re the hardest thing ever!
After taking pain killers which I hate, ice on the back etc one week later I have just run a gentle 4 k and I am ok what a lovely feeling to be out running and that sense of freedom as you run along - for me a very pretty tow path. Looking forward to completing JuJus plan and getting to 10k and celebrating not smugly but with a sense of achievement.
Lesson learnt!

Always lots to learn. If you have cleared your loft and run 8k, well that is superb! 🏆🎉 Pleased to read that your back seems better. Long may it stay so. 😊🌸
