Time to pause

Oh well, it was bound to happen sooner or later when I work with young children. I have caught their cold and have woken up feeling a bit crap. So my goal for the week is going to be postponed to the next week. Gutting, because I was on the last week of the timed bridge to 10k training! I'm not going to push myself though, I'll keep it sensible. I might take the dog for a long walk today instead 😊

And I found out this week that I missed the entry window for Run Norwich 10k - it sold out in a few hours while I was at work! 😭

Maybe a walk with the dog will cheer me up!

Shame you've picked up a bug from the children but as you say , one of those things.

Hopefully you'll find another 10k race 🤞

What I did last week to cheer me up was I walked the dog on one of my running routes so I got 3 miles in and the dog was happy too. Hope you feel better soon.

😊😊🐕🐕

Thanks, I have had a good walk with the dog and feel a little better for the fresh air. Its just a bit frustrating isn't it!

Sorry you've caught the bug. Long walk sounds good. Take care.

Thanks. At least it isn't raining, so the walk was quite pleasant.

Sorry to hear about your bug and slight setback. You will get there and you’ll find another 10k to sign up for.

I hope the dog walk lifted your spirits. Keep smiling, your graduation is just around the corner.

Colds make you feel horrible, dog walks help but so does taking care of yourself

Hope you feel better soon

Thanks, it's a busy weekend and unfortunately for once running isn't a priority. I had got used to it being the focus of my spare time!
