First 10k Race - Done!

No park run yesterday - course too icy and locks on equipment shed frozen solid. But I was due to timekeep anyway as today was my first 10k race (and only my second 10k run). Really well organised event, beautiful weather and fabulous views. Downside - a couple of steep hills to walk(!) up and some icy patches the sun hadn't reached. But I finished, and within 1hr 10mins which was my goal. Thanks North Devon Road Runners for a fantastic event. Could well become an annual outing.

Well done on running your first 10K, pity about yesterday being cancelled because of the ice, the equipment shed lock being frozen, that is where all the markings are kept like along the course, caution runners, start, finish etc, well done on that sub 70 minutes time. 😊 🏃🏾
