First 10k race event, DONE!

Well that's my first 10k event done, the beautiful Beachy Head one at that! And not a bad time either - clock said 1:11 something as we sprinted past it so very happy with that ☺

Great weather - very chilly start but lovely bright day with clear skies to show the spectacular views along the route. Nice atmosphere too. Bring on next year's one!

UPDATE: Time was exactly 1:10:00!!!

Did it feel.different running in the race? I've knly ever run on my own at night and was wondering if having other people was a negative or if you just ran your own pace regardless

In the ParkRun I get much better times than on my own. And it’s so much more fun! I use MapMyFitness to tell me my pace every km so I keep in control.
