Rainy this evening!

Did a nice little 4.8k run this evening in the rain. On the plus side I got to test out my new jacket and it worked very well - very pleased with that. On the downside I kept stepping in deep puddles because my torch isn’t all the bright and my new* trainers are soaked through 😫

*they’re a couple of months old but I’ve not run them in the rain until today 🙈

Great you got to try your jacket. As for the trainers I stuffed mine with kitchen roll and sat them under the raidiator, dried out nicely 😊😊

Thanks Buddy. Yep mine were stuffed with newspaper straight away, which I’ll change for fresh today 👍🏼

Don't know why but there seems to be a lot more 'poo' around Christmas /new year. Don't understand people, I now have my second dog and have always picked it up. Some people just shouldn't get a dog if they are not prepared to pick up after them🐕💩

Sorry for the rant but it really gets on my nerves😂

Nice of you to christen them after all these dry runs🥴 the next time its wet you won't feel so bad about them. Hope they dried ok. Happy running
