Just wanted to say how much I have missed my cooler runs and what a relief to step out in to the rain this morning and enjoy a lovely, rainy pootle along the local bridleways and tracks!πππ½ββοΈπ§. Forecast looks cool for a good few days and I am very definately a happy runner !

Gorgeous... and yes,, so refreshing and so welcome. Well done you !
Cooler is definitely better for me too, Sandra. Glad you had a good run. πβ€οΈ
Iβve not properly developed my torrential downpour coping strategy for running yet, though... I guess that will come once our weather here returns to normal again! π
..today it just involved a lightweight running cap to keep rain out of my eyes! When it's colder I do have a very lightweight water resistant run jacket which I sometimes use and can be tied around my waist. Often though... I will just get wet!! π
I'm chuckling to myself as i sit here debating whether to go and run as it's so chilly!
Oooh sounds lovely Sandra, it's fab. I'm off to Ireland next week and can't wait as it's much cooler there and it's raining most days now! Whooooo hooooo π€π€
Itβs raining, raining down on me-eeeeee π What fun!
Dry as a bone here and iβm Off for a 12k I think. Nope, I tell a lie, itβs an 8k.
No rain forecast here til Monday
Have fun folks, rain or shine π
Strangely enough I'm sitting here now at my desk with the rain beating on the windows and wondering should go for my run now or wait a while until it leaves off πππ
I'm on school holidays at the moment so I get the choice to run when I want - this is not usually the case and most often I will have planned when I run around work and family life, so I go whatever the weather! The hardest part is stepping out the door but once you're out in it, it's usually fine...unless it is really cold and windy...but then you have the bonus of returning home feeling ridiculously chuffed that you did it anyway!π A cap is a good idea when it's really beating down as it keeps the water out of your eyes.
Sounds wonderfully refreshing π
