Today I went back and did R3W5 which I found hard. Considering I was about to embark on W9R1 I'm slightly concerned that I seem to be struggling. However I AM on holiday and did eat and drink out last night so I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised. I did the first of the yoga challenge yesterday thinking that I'd alternate yoga with running. I was going to do the second one after my run this morning but a friend said they didn't think it was a good idea because I'd run and done some gardening. I thought it might help me stretch off. Not sure now whether to alternate or try and do the yoga every day even after I've run? Opinions, as ever, welcome.
Erm….: Today I went back and did R3W5 which I... - Bridge to 10K

You can give it a go and see, it would certainly stretch out your muscles. You can always stop if it's too much. Good luck
So I have just done the second yoga class and must admit I think I'll sleep well tonight! That's good though I think. I'll run every third day now as I don't want to over do the exercise thing. I want to be stronger AND fitter not worn out.
We didn’t run today we did yoga but that was after a long day at work and we needed food so shopped, you can always modify the yoga it feels good to have done it and is shorter than yesterday’s
Tomorrow i have a shorter day at work no shopping so intend to run then do yoga before dinner
If you are struggling with the timed runs slow down more so you can get to the end of the time
Yes, I will try and slow down a little.
It’s not always easy, we are slow anyway but our slow now is about 2 minutes faster than when we first started and could hardly breathe
I do the yoga on non-run days. It stretches out the body the day after the run and prepares you for the next run.
We all struggle with runs at some time or another. Post Christmas sluggishness is to be expected as we've eaten weird stuff and put weight on. Well, I know I have, eek!
Don't worry. Just get back on it and enjoy those runs
