5th 10k in December 🤩🤩

I wanted to try to do a 10k every Monday in December, wasn't sure if I could , but if you don't try you'll never know.

So today was my 5th 10k , I know it was me who did the running but just to have this forum in place to post and read other people's posts has really helped.

So what next , I'm going to do a 10k twice per month and maybe try adding to it a small amount of distance at a time but at the moment I feel 10k is my limit but I remember saying that about 5k.

So just to say thank you to you all for being so supportive it really means a lot.

Good luck for 2020 and happy running 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Well done Buddy, you’re an awesome dedicated runner and I am positive you can go beyond 10k if you want to. We’ve all said that about 5k and 10k - and 10 miles. Let’s just say I’m running my first HM race in March! 🤣

Thank you. How exiting to run a HM . I'm quite tired at the end of a 10k but I remember feeling like that with a 5k now I'm not . So we will see😊

Well done. And that time is impressive.

I ran my third 10k this morning; Monday is now 10k day for me. Going to take me a while to match your times though. (1:09:15 this morning).

Fantastic run and time for you this morning Buddy34, I will be running my 5th 10K this Friday, I don't have a hope in 👋 on getting that time, perhaps around 70/73 minutes

I'll probably stick to once a month on running a 10K.

I agree with you regarding everyone on this forum being very supportive of each other. 😊 🏃🏾

Well done Buddy! That’s a brilliant goal to have 😊

Fantastic effort all those 10ks, and brilliant time too, you must be chuffed. 2a month seems a good level for a bit. Bet you’re working on longer distances by summer though😉

Well done!

I feel the same about 10k being at my limit - but never say never eh? 😊

You wouldn't have said that if you'd seen me at the end of the 10k today 🤣 I was knackered. But 5 minute cool down walk an I was good as new

Well done for sticking to your plan! I’ve managed a 10K every fortnight. Not as often as I would like but hey I’m trying.

I feel like 10K is my Limit too but I think we have so much more in us, sometime in the new year we’ll want to extend our distance I’m

Sure.

All the best for your 2020 goals, I look forward to your updates ❤️

Brilliant - well jealous as flu knocked my running on the head in December just as I got to 9k but hope to get back on it as soon as I get back in the UK - stick with it and I'll see you at the HM later in the year! :)

Well done Buddy you have done amazingly well 🥳. Such dedication is inspiring and you’re clearly enjoying it.

I don’t know where you live but I have signed up for the Great South Run in October and it’s 10 miles. My motivation is raising money for charity not the love of running but it’s a flat course so maybe something like that would suit you. In fact by then you’ll probably have completed your first half marathon!!! 😀

Happy New Year and lots of safe, enjoyable running. x

I live in Scotland. There is the Great Scottish run its 10k or HM.

I may consider the 10k not too sure yet .

Happy New year to you too 🍾🍾
