so, it's dark, wet, cold and blowing a hooley, so do I settle on the sofa like any sensible human being might do?
No, I head out and do a 5k lap of my village.
I hold you lot entirely responsible for what I've become...

πππGood on you. I've just been out with the dog and you're right the weather's crazy. Hope you enjoyed it
You are really, really welcome xx
Your weather sounds like mine and I am about to head out for my run... the sofa is very tempting tonight though and this has tested my will power but I am ready now so out I will go
Oh well done it takes determination to run in the cold dark wet windy weather
Nice photo of you STF, what have you got?, answer, the running π bug, no known cure, sorry, we can't take responsibility for what you have become. π ππΎ
Ah well. Fate. Canβt fight it. You have succumbed to the Running Bug infection. Well done, you. ππΌπππ
Brilliant well done you I hope you enjoyed yourself
I honestly believe there's no such thing as bad weather, or good weather in equal measure. The weather just is. We tend to see it, feel it, and think of it in our own individual ways. Some guys here avoid sunshine and complain about warm temperatures (l LOVE hot weather running), some dislike rain (what is there to dislike?!), some folks are keen to rail against the cold bites (layer it and run faster!). In other words, there's no such thing as whatever weather. There's just our will power in order to beat our own perceptions, and on that front you've done a great job by going out and treating your body well. π
I love that minion look ( yellow vest and headtorch) , sport it myself for morning runs. Run whatever the weather, you are a runner. We are glad to have assisted.
Happy running πββοΈπββοΈ
Well done. I bet you felt very satisfied when you got home.
Well done SF - glad youβve joined the Absolutely Bonkers club! πππββοΈπββοΈ
Yeah...we're non of us sensible human beings anymore! In fact I think we consider it a challenge, game on British weather ππββοΈπββοΈπ
you dont get too hot in this weather, it's great (have to find motivation and positives) plus you feel nice and warm when you get home...
Thereβs no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing. Well, so long as the running surface is safe, that is.
