What just happened?

Well, it would seem that I've only gone and crossed another bridge; this time taking me to half-marathon distance. Wasn't really my plan, but the conditions were pretty much perfect; dry and not a breath of wind (it was -2°C, but we can't have everything), and my legs were up for the challenge.

I'm not planning repeating it anytime soon, and it confirmed that I have no desire to go any further but I've done it, and I'm going to enjoy the achievement (although tomorrow I may regret it...)

Well done StrongFuse how we surprise ourselves every step of the way when we think we don’t have any more in our legs!

Bask in the achievement, you’ve earned it.

Thanks. My legs have made it quite clear that they don't want any further distance increases...

That's really amazing. To think this all started with 60 seconds of running and look at you now. Congratulations 😊👏

I'm not lying when I say that I enjoyed tonight's run far more than those 8 minutes in W1R1.

Well. Amazing achievement. 👍🎉 Not quite clear how one runs half marathon distance without really planning it, but never mind. Enjoy that glow! And maybe a bath with some Epsom Salts, just in case? 🤣

I'd been stretching out my long runs since I first did 10k. A couple of weeks ago I got to 10 miles and this week, when I got to that mark, I just kept going. Monday is my long run night, so I was always going for 10ish miles, the extra 3 was the unplanned bit.

A big congratulations on running a Half Marathon sTrongFuse, it wasn't all that long ago that you graduated to Graduate10 so all the more amazing for that run, just tell the administrators to get the words "Half Marathon" next to your username, now go and celebrate.

30 mins and 5k in May, 10k in July, sub-30 min 5k in September, 10 miles in October, and now HM in November. It's been quite a packed few months in terms of achievements.

Half Marathon is the king, well a full marathon probably is the king of kings regarding running, once again congratulations, yes it's been a great year for you, on December 31st you will be so proud of your running year.

Every time I go for a run the Nike Run Club app gives me a bunch of achievement badges. You’ve got to love that sense of continual progression. 😀

Great achievement especially in the cold. Hope you don’t suffer in the morning

Well done StrongFuse, that’s quite some feat! You’re clearly a natural. 😀👏

I hope you’re going to wear your HM badge with pride. Being shallow when it comes to badges myself, I request mine pretty much the minute I get home from a landmark run! 🏅🏅

I did, and my legs aren't punishing me for it too much this morning, either; which is a bonus.
