I went out earlier to meet up with a local running group. Rather than take the car to meet up I decided to run over to the meeting point, just 2k. I ran at a nice comfortable pace. Was at the meeting point 10 minutes early, so recovered and did some stretching. I was looking forward to the 5k run. The group met up at 7, we had a chat and one of the ladies said, right we are doing 7k this evening. My mouth dropped. I was sorry I didn't take the car.๐ I ran the full 7k at a nice easy 7min/km pace. Then when we got back I did some stretches, chatted for a bit and ran home for just over 1km. So I ended up without planning it running a total of 10k. Split up into 3 separate runs. I'm in shock. It was not planned, but I took it nice and slow.

No. It was not a full 10k in one go. It was split into 3 runs in one evening. Completely unplanned. But it was a good confidence booster. I can do more than 5k. I will just do 5k for my next few runs.
