Good morning fit people! I graduated in February and can run 5k fairly easily now. I'd like to run a bit further so any advice on increasing distance would be greatly appreciated. Is it good to sprint a short while during your runs? Thank you very much

Congratulations on running 5K, to increase your distance, try the Ju Ju magic Bridge 210K plan or just run 3 runs a week, one of these runs should be about 500 metres longer than the previous week, that way you will increase by 1 Kilometre a fortnight until you get to 10K.

I have been adding on a km a fortnight to one run and it's working for me , I'm now up to 7k. Good luck 😊

When I first graduated I extended the long run each week, continued with a 5k and then a shorter interval or recovery session. The 10k plan is based on this and it helps if you want a structure. Huge well done on graduating too.
