Homewood parkrun - No. 12

Finished my 12th different parkrun today. Definitely the toughest I have done, with woodland trails, mud, tree roots and some pretty steep hills.

New trail shoes held up well, and held me up well. No slipping.

I think that's the toughest one in my area, and probably the hardest venue I will get to before I complete the run of 20 different ones.

Small group, very friendly.

It may have been your 12th parkrun but it sounded really tough. 😊😊

I've only done 6 park runs but most of these were at Homewood park. Interesting to hear this is harder than others in the area... The only other one I have done is in Bracknell which I tend to find slower - though that is much busier so think end up going slower at the start as so many people.

Must admit the last time I did this (about a month ago) it was very slippery, so I've now ordered some trail shoes for next time!

Yep, definitely need trail shoes! Try Bedfont Lakes for a much flatter nearby course on tarmac.
