I haven't been getting out running much lately. A combination of factors (pain, rain, no car...still) but after reading Fabulous450 's post I was spurred on to go yesterday evening. I was out and back before it even had time to rain on me π. I did the speed podcast + a bit to round it up to 5km. I don't seem to be getting faster yet. Still nowhere near a sub 30 5km, but I've made the decision on a route and to repeat this podcast til it starts to work.
Body and head felt better for my quick run. Not doing Parkrun today as I'm off to collect my long awaited car π
Was pleased to find when packing clothes for a night away that I still packed my running gear first πππΌββοΈ

Iβm just building up to ditching my car and Iβm going to try to use it as motivation to run home from work once a week, roughly 14k, over winter. I may be mad.
Nice 5km Baddie and what a great time. I havenβt managed a 5km since Wilmslow, but keep ticking over with 3 runs a week, 4 km was just a step too far today with this cold. So glad youβre getting your car at last whoo hoo!
Thanks Baddie, funnily enough I didnβt suffer from it this time, but this cold refuses to go away. Iβve just climbed out of bed, grabbed a herbal tea and am heading back to it. Perfect running day outside too π
Speaking of ukuleles, I jogged past George Formbyβs house on St Anneβs seafront the other day I stopped to take a pic of the blue plaque. The house is named Beryldene after his wife π. I saw the Les Dawson statue too I donβt think he played though π
Nice run Baddie! Another 5k to add to the wallchart πππ» Uh oh, look out peeps, Baddie is about to take to the lanes of Cheshire in an Audi TT (unless somethingβs changed since last weekend) ππ
I bought a Race Red fiesta It looks gorgeous. I hardly ever use it though Living on the edge of town means itβs easy to leave it at home and just walk or jog to the shops
I am definitely backing you for a sub 30 BTP, but in your own time when you feel it is right. Audi TT can feed your need for speed in the meantime π
Awesome run Baddie! πππ Youβre closer to sub 30 than me! π
I was thinking how lucky it was we werenβt running Lyme Park this weekend. It might have been cancelled Iβm guessing? πββοΈπ¦πββοΈ
No Lyme Park was not cancelled. We went to Marple, which was muddy (normal state for winter) but otherwise very nice. I ran with one of our monthly tourist regulars who missed Lyme Park because she was running that other easy run, Fell Foot!
She says we have to go back to do Lyme Park with her.
