Still raining. Get up and get dressed in work clothes, even though I'm supposed to be running then going down the allotment.
I check my emails and find Fabulous450 is being good and doing her morning routine. I could do 200 squats maybe? Ah it's stopped raining. Quick change in to running gear and out I go, spurred on by VRBs (yes that's you lot). I'm not enjoying intervals so did the stamina podcast. 5km later and I'm home and getting changed in to my allotment clothes. The pitter patter of rain on the roof tells me I might be getting back in to work clothes soon. (I'd rather be putting my PJs on but can do that tonight). Feeling a bit like Mr Ben π

You are so much younger than me - I remember the moon landings and the launching of QE2 both on very flickery black and white screens. Whole school pulled into room to watch QE2 on tiny screen. But hey, this granny to be can still run and enjoy it.
Now you can feel young: our DAUGHTER remembers being sat in front of that moon landing tv and being told βWatch this. Itβs important.β π€£π€£ And I can still run and enjoy it, so thereβs hope for us all. ππ
Donβt think Iβve ever got changed that many times in one day unless clothes shopping π€£. Well done... I missed the dry bit and havenβt managed to get out there yet.
Well done on getting out - I find the whole getting changed for running is sometimes just enough to stop me running so on a running day I try to put my running gear on first - today I have done a school run, been to the library and been shopping - all in my running clothes - unfortunately I have yet to go out and actually run!
Still aiming for a total of 700km this year. Think I'm going to miss it by about 200km but that's ok. I've done plenty of strength exercise (allotment digging) so that's fine, and 600 km is still amazing for me.
Certainly is seriously amazing! I expect you find that the running improves your stamina, so you can dig longer without a break. π‘ πββοΈππΈ
Oh you are a heroine! I have to put my gear on as I get up, or no run ever happens. Sometimes I do lots of other things before the run, but I feel such a failure if I take it off without running, that I do (almost) always hit the trail eventually. π€£ Maybe Iβm secretly related to Ssasqueen?
Sounds good - yes i think Iβm with you it would be a fail not to run once Iβm dressed for it - it might be dark by the time I get out but I will get out
Haha this made me laugh BaddieThePirate , Mr Ben?!! you must've been exhausted with all the costume changes?!! I have been in my running gear ALL DAY...and the rain has been relentless ALL DAY...so i'm sat here now, looking for some inspiration to get me outside as I need to carry on with this weeks runs and I've just found it right here in your post....so as soon as I've done the school run I'm off out!! Thanks for that Baddie π
Well done Baddie. You got out and 5k is a nice distance. I do feel for you with all the rain youβve been having. Down here we had a 15 minute spell of light rain yesterday morning and itβs raining lightly now. Nothing really.
Stay warm and dry, and shame you canβt make it tomorrow. See you next time though. π
