Tempted fate - went out today and only got 1.5K into a run when I felt a pain in my left thigh at the back. Assume it is my hamstring, not painful as I stopped straight away and walked back home. So I started JuJu plan to ease into it and this happens. I will give it a few days rest then do a gentle walk/run and see how it goes.

Rest for a day, use some ibuprofen if you can then some gentle hamstring stretching 1-2 per day and walk.
Thanks Oldschool01,I have only heard about hamstring problems with footballers etc and having got into this running malarky l have never experienced till now. I "always without exception" warm up and cool down walks and stretches but nothing special. Any particular gentle hamstring stretching you can suggest?

Look on net for a straight leg hamstring stretch.. It shoukd help, you also find stretches for injured hamstring that might be worth looking at. You can find them on YouTube.
Just do them gently, if you over stretch you could make things worse.
